LEARNING TRUTH FROM A YOUNG AGE
Community Kids is our children's ministry at CBC. Through safe supervision, fun activities, meaningful teaching, and partnership with parents, we aim to engage your child with scripture, introduce them to our Savior Jesus, and connect them into the Church body!
During Sunday services, Community Kids has classes for all children through 5th grade, including nursery care. In these classes, kids learn about Jesus in a fun, engaging, and age‑appropriate way. Each week, trained and caring volunteers lead lessons, activities, and conversations designed to nurture faith, build community, and support families as their children grow in their understanding of who Jesus is.
WE KEEP YOUR KIDS SAFE
The safety of our children is one of our highest priorities, and we’ve put intentional systems in place to protect them well. All Community Kids volunteers have passed background checks and been trained in abuse-prevention protocols. We use a secure check-in process that matches each child with a unique pickup number, so only authorized adults are able to pick kids up from class (or even enter the kids' hallway). Additionally, our kids' hallway and classrooms are monitored by security cameras to ensure a safe environment for our children and volunteers. When you choose to participate in our ministries, we want you to know that your children are cared for and protected!
Community Kids 4 Truth
During the fall and spring semesters, our children's ministry provides a mid-week program for children ages 4 through 5th grade. "Kids 4 Truth" is a weekly time to learn, grow, and have fun.
Each Wednesday from 6:30–8:00pm, kids enjoy a Bible lesson, time on the playground, a practical life‑skill activity, and small‑group discussions that help them connect what they’re learning to everyday life. It’s a fun, meaningful evening led by caring volunteers who love helping kids follow Jesus.
