Paul and his wife, Vicki, moved to South Carolina in 2000, where Paul accepted a professor position at a nearby university. In 2004, he joined the faculty of Worldview Academy, serving students nationwide during the summer months. Paul and Vicki have two grown children. Their daughter, Marah, graduated from Anderson University and, along with her husband Ethan, runs a home business called Covey Kennels. They also have two children. Their son, Micah, graduated from Clemson University, lives in Texas, and serves as a missionary to the culture with Worldview Academy.
In 2003, the family joined Community Bible Church. The following year, Paul started the ongoing LifeTruth class, and in 2005, he founded the Bible Institute and became a member of the elder board. In 2018, Paul transitioned to his full-time position as Teaching Pastor at the church.
In his free time, Paul enjoys reading, biking, motorcycles, traveling, and playing games with his family. His passion is teaching God’s word, whether from the pulpit or in the classroom, and witnessing God’s transformative work in people’s lives. Paul is fully committed to CBC’s mission of loving God, loving people, and redeeming the world.
