Dan grew up in southern California but moved to Virginia in 2005. In 2012, he graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies with a minor in Music Industry. Dan also met his wife, Megan, while at JMU; they were married in 2012 and soon moved to the D.C. suburbs of Northern Virginia, where Dan served as a church’s worship/student minister from 2013-2019.

In 2019, Dan & Megan were blessed with a son, Emmett. Shortly after, they felt God pointing them away from Northern Virginia; God showed His faithfulness as He paved the way for Dan to move his family and begin serving at Community Bible Church, first as the worship/youth director, and then in 2022 shifting into the Worship & Technology Director role. God has also blessed Dan & Megan with two more boys, Avery and Ethan, and recently with a baby girl, Annabelle.

Dan loves music in all forms (listening, playing, and even writing), and enjoys all things technology, including video games with his sons and friends. He has also been known to tackle DIY home- and handyman-projects, usually to impress his wife. Dan loves problem-solving and working with teammates, and is grateful for a job that allows him to use his passions to serve God and the Body of Christ!
