Community Bible Church is proud to partner with Liceo Cristiano Habitación ("Habitation Christian School") in Puerto San José, Guatemala.
Who We Are
We are Joel and Mireya, a young married couple, both Guatemalans and residents of San José, Escuintla. We founded Iglesia Cristiana Habitación (Habitation Christian Church) in 2023, with Joel serving as pastor. Our primary focus is the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the biblical study of the Word. In 2016 we founded a pharmaceutical company, which has given us the opportunity to make connections and be more effective in our calling to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus.
Where The Spirit Leads
On October 11, 2024, we celebrated the first anniversary of our church. During that service, the Holy Spirit convicted us to urgently minister to the generations of children facing increasingly unbiblical influences in our community. He revealed to us an effective way to counter these attacks: to disciple children through education and training. With this divine direction, we began work on the vision God entrusted to us: a school that promotes biblical values and principles along with a strong academic background. We know it will be a challenge, but we trust that the Lord will be faithful to sustain us and fulfill His purposes.

OUR MISSION: To shape students with the identity of children of God, promoting their integral development that allows them to face challenges with wisdom and spiritual and emotional intelligence; committed to growth and social transformation for the fulfillment of God's purpose in their lives.
OUR VISION: To be an educational institution of impact and blessing for our community through an innovative and comprehensive Christian educational service, which forms a generation of honest, integral individuals who are spiritually and emotionally capable Who to perform in their global environment.
