STUDYING JESUS TOGETHER.

As followers of Christ, we believe we have hope to share with others around us. This is needed now more than ever, and we believe education is an important part of grounding oneself in that hope. At Community Bible Church, Bible Institute classes serve as a foundation for spiritual growth. Our classes allow us to connect to our relationship with Christ on a deeper level of learning.

We invite you to be part of the Bible Institute! These classes meet in the Fall and Spring semesters on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm.

FALL 2023 CLASS:
REFORMATION HISTORY & THEOLOGY

START DATE: SEPTEMBER 13TH

In this class we will examine the intersection of history, theology and philosophy contributing to the revolution we call the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century. Attention is given to the proto-reformers, the decline of Scholasticism, the rise of Renaissance Humanism, and the restoration of the Greek N.T. We also focus on the history, theology and leaders of four faith institutions- Lutheran, Reformed, Anglican and Anabaptists.

This class will be taught by guest speaker Dr. Dale Johnson! Dr. Johnson is a popular preacher and inspiring classroom teacher. He particularly enjoys taking students and other groups to study Reformation church history in Germany. He serves as an elder in the Presbyterian Church in America.

SIGN UP FOR BIBLE INSTITUTE!

Bible Institute classes may require small purchases of study materials (usually around $20). This will be coordinated per-class by the instructor, with materials available by the first class session.
