John 3:16-18  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him.  He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Oh what blessed HOPE we have because Jesus humbled Himself and came as a babe to be our Savior.  We have so much to be thankful for and one of the many things we are thanking the Lord for today is YOU.  You bless us through your love, prayers of petition and sacrificial giving so we can serve our Savior in Mexico.  We count it all joy to be here.
We have very exciting news, this month!  We now have TWO grandbabies who are to join our family in 2016.  Blake and Grace are due the end of March and Andrew and Kayce are due the beginning of August.  To say we are ecstatic is an understatement!
Did you know the hospital we are working with, in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico, was established 15 ˝ years ago?  The hospital treats many Tarahumara each year. Seven times a week there are times of singing and sharing from the Word, right in the hospital.  Twice a week, there are hour long evening services in the waiting room. The other five services take place in the morning, at the nurse’s station, down the hall from the waiting room.  Those services last around a half hour.  Patients hear praises sung to God and can listen to Truth shared.  Seeds are planted and watered and by God’s grace, some are harvested right there at the hospital.  Patients are prayed over and they see the believing doctors and nurses trusting in the Great Physician to administer healing.  Thank-you for praying for the laborers who work with us, and for praying for a bountiful harvest among the Tarahumara!
Did you know the Tarahumara have many different beliefs concerning God and the role they are to play to keep Him appeased?  They need to know the truth about Jesus.  Culture is a big part of one’s world view and if believers are not careful when sharing God’s Word with people of a different culture, syncretism can occur.  Light dispels darkness, truth casts down lies, God chooses to use ordinary people to share His PRECIOUS Good News and HE is the one who gives the increase.  Please pray for us and for the other believers whom we work with, that we will clearly share the Good News of Jesus Christ in our actions and our words!
We are where we are because God so loved the WORLD and sent His one and ONLY begotten Son, our HOPE, and it is a message that begs to be shared.  Thanks for following in His footsteps, loving the world and giving of your time and energy to pray for and support our ministry in Mexico.
Have a Christ filled Christmas!
Rejoicing in Him, as we celebrate His birth,
